Welcome to the Integrated Program Office's Information Center
Documents previously located in the npoesslib.ipo.noaa.gov are now archived at this Web site.
This Information Center includes NPOESS, NPP and IPO information ranging from historical and management/operations to scientific and technical to general public and educational information.
Most documents are provided in Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF). If you don't have Acrobat® Reader version 5.0 or greater, you can obtain a free copy of this software from Adobe at: http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/readstep2.html.

How Information is Organized
The Integrated Program Office Information Center is organized using a two level indexing system. The top or uppermost level consists of the following broad groupings known as document type. All of our documents fall into one of these:
Document Types
The second organizational level is the category. There are many categories within each document type (above). The following categories comprise the entire collection:

Finding the Information You Want
There are several ways for you to locate information within our collection. First, you can simply peruse the collection by document type and category to see the entire range of published information available.
If you know the author or title, Locate by Author and Locate by Title lookup will probably be the most direct approach. To use this feature, simply enter part or all of the desired title and/or the author name into the corresponding fields on the Information Center home page.
Individual Information Center publications are cross-indexed by Key Word. Locate by Key WordThis method is useful when you want a list of related documents that span multiple categories. Example: the document listing generated by Locate by Keyword using VIIRS as input would include VIIRS ATBD's from category "CALVAL" as well as technical specifications from "Sensors".
Lastly, you can use our Search utility. Search can produce a very large list, depending upon the precision of your search terms.
If you are unable to locate a specific publication or have difficulty retreiving any document, please Contact IPO External Affairs .
